Yes, she's sucking her thumb! She's managed to get it in her mouth a few times now.

Octavia smiles in her sleep all the time (this was my best attempt to catch a smile) and we actually spied her two dimples within a few minutes of her being born. I think she looks a lot like her brother, dad and Aunt Hannah. What do you think? She just might have my forehead though!

This sleeper was Matt's when he was a baby. Isn't it cute?

At the hospital and home

Octavia Poppy March was born December 1, 2010 at 11:52 am. She weighed 7 lbs 4.9 oz, and was 19" long. Everyone's home now and doing great (if a little tired).

At home, Jasper has been pretty interested in his new baby sister. He was really interested when he first saw her, and pulled some excited and surprised faces. He asks to hold her all the time too.

Snow Day

It snowed a good 4 inches on Monday so Seattle all but shut down. We went for a walk in the snowy street and came home for hot chocolate. After naptime Matt and Jasper made oatmeal cookies.

The Aquarium

We went to the Seattle Aquarium on Saturday with the Fourniers. Jasper and Luka held hands the whole time. It was adorable.

Making Pizza

Jasper and Matt made pizza last week and boy did they have a good time.

Jasper did some measuring while the pizza was in the oven.
